Technical Management Systems, Inc. (TMS) began business in September of 1987. Our objective is to provide system integration consulting services to business and industry. We provide our customers with custom systems that use technology for increased productivity and efficiency. Our team combines the knowledge of the latest in computer capabilities with a thorough understanding of industrial practices. Each member of our core team is university trained and holds a bachelors and/or masters degree. Our staff includes a Certified Public Accountant and Microsoft Certified Professionals. This academic training combined with the experience in a variety of professional disciplines gives TMS both specialized expertise and a broad view of any project.

TMS specializes in material and information management and control through innovative custom systems that integrate as many “off-the-shelf” components as possible. These systems include total integration of the required technologies such as automatic data collection, wireless LAN, Internet databases, etc. We have relationships with various hardware and software manufacturers of components of customized information management systems. We integrate data collection equipment from Intermec Technologies Corporation, Percon, Zebra Technologies, and Hand Held Products. We are also an Authorized Great Plains Accounting Partner. These “reseller” relationships allow TMS to provide clients with a completely integrated information system.

Our systems approach is to work with our clients to develop a formal user requirement specification and then design a system that uses as many off-the-shelf hardware and software products as possible. This system design becomes the “Blueprint” for implementation. We develop customized interfaces and support software on an as-needed basis to complete the system so that all components function as a single unit to meet the design specification. This design and implementation philosophy allows us to become an extension of our clients’ staff, enhancing the clients’ resources.
